It has been a wild ride since my last posts from Playsum! Most significantly, my wife and I welcomed our first child, Theodore! He turned one month old recently, and it has been a joy to welcome him into our lives. This blog has been an on-and-off part of my life for many years, and I believe it is time to bring it back into focus. As always, I hope to provide a variety of content on the blog, talking about books, movies, shows, music, games, and anything that springs to mind. Hopefully also sprinkling in some content about children and teaching (which are the two biggest parts of my life right now!). I will continue sharing content that I publish on other sites (if I expand beyond Playsum), and hope to have something uploaded on a weekly or bi-weekly basis!
I have a few things planned at the get-go that I am looking forward to writing about, including some children’s book & video game reviews. I have also begun a massive read-through of some significant DC Comic runs from Crisis on Infinite Earths – Flashpoint Paradox that I look forward to discussing! But overall, I am simply looking forward to reinvigorating an old hobby that I never truly abandoned. I also look forward to going back and breaking down some of my older blog posts, evaluating and examining some of the things I wrote from years ago. There’s certainly plenty of material to write about nowadays, and I look forward to exploring some of this here!
